The One has been designed as an all-in-one formula, which reduces the risk of incorrect blending and layering of active ingredients at home.
The One has been formulated with a highly effective, yet safe complex of 8 skincare hero actives. The actives and their specific natural chemical forms have been chosen to complement each other and they have been added to the formula in concentrations that are safe to use simultaneously and on a daily basis.
For example, when dermatologists prescribe a retinoid or retinol (vitamin A derivative) cream, they start out with a concentration of 0.25% percent and then increase it to 0.5%, which is considered the gold standard for most skin types. The One contains 0.5% Sytenol A (our true, natural retinol alternative) - a level that is both efficacious and safe.
The One is an all-in-one product that can be compared to a daily multivitamin. It contains the perfect mix of natural skincare hero ingredients that address a multitude of skincare concerns including dehydration, dullness, uneven skin tone, fine lines & wrinkles.
The One has been formulated to take the guesswork out of your skincare choices – you do not need to be a chemist at home or worry about what products and ingredients you should combine, and in which order. The One is suitable for all age groups and all skin types, even those with sensitive skin.

None of the 8 actives in The One formula have been linked to increased photosensitivity.
For example, one of the great advantages of Sytenol® A (our pure bakuchiol extract) compared to retinol is that it does not cause photosensitivity in the skin. Sytenol® A is a 99% pure bakuchiol extract and, unlike many other generic bakuchiol products on the market (e.g., Babchi Oil serums), it does not contain phototoxic phytocompounds.
If you want to be sure that your product contains the only true, clinically tested, non-photosensitizing retinol-alternative, check the product’s official ingredient (INCI) list. If your product is made using Sytenol® A, it will read 'bakuchiol'. Stay clear of 'Babchi Extract', 'Psoralea Corylifolia Extract', and 'Bakuchi Oil'.
The One also contains vitamin C combined with vitamin E, which together act as an antioxidant and photoprotective power couple. They neutralize free radicals forming on skin surface and, in this way, protect against UV-induced oxidative damage.
Remember, even if your skincare product is not photosensitizing, it does not mean that you can skip your daily SPF. Wearing sunscreen daily is the easiest and most effective way to prevent premature skin aging and reduce the risk of skin cancer.
